Design & manufacture of atmospheric radar systems

The French disconnection

3 August 2001
Typhanie Sanchez, Telecommunications Engineering final year student from Toulon University in France, has finished her six-month exchange work experience with ATRAD to complete her university degree.

Typhanie's project was to develop `A computer model to simulate the techniques involved in data processing for atmospheric radars'. On her return to France she will present her report to the university to enable her to receive her Telecommunications Engineering degree.

The results of this project will allow ATRAD to investigate optimal data processing techniques for a variety of different radar systems operating in different environments.

Typhanie's last day was celebrated in true Aussie fashion with a BBQ in a near-by park. At the BBQ Typhanie was presented with an assortment of Australiana and a certificate of achievement for her project.

We all wish Typhanie bon voyage and good luck for the future.
