The directors of Atmospheric Radar Systems Pty Ltd are pleased to announce the appointment of prominent South Australian businessman Mr Nicholas Begakis AM as non-executive chairman.

Nick brings with him a wealth of experience in business, which was recognised in the 2001 Queen's Birthday Honours list, where he was invested as a Member of the Order of Australia for his work in promoting Australian business and exports.

He is also the immediate past vice-president of the South Australian and Northern Territory section of The Australian Institute for Company Directors, chairs a number of government boards, is a Director of Business SA and chair of the Women's and Children's Hospital Foundation.

With this knowledge and experience he will advise and direct ATRAD through the current growth phase of the company.
